About Ebenezer Collective
Hi, I’m Shannon. I’m so glad you are here! Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet to learn about Ebenezer Collective.
Ebenezer Collective was created for one purpose - to help keep our eyes fixed on Him by turning meaningful moments into little daily reminders of His faithfulness and provision.
About four years ago, our lives as a family were unexpectedly turned upside down. It’s been a long, dark journey, but through God’s faithfulness, we are healing and moving forward. We no longer define ourselves by what happened to us, but by His love and grace that continues to carry us.
For a long time, looking at old photos brought me overwhelming grief. But, as God has healed my heart, those same photographs have taken on a different meaning. They are no longer reminders of what was lost. Instead, they've become my modern-day ebenezers—small memorials to God's faithfulness through every season. Each one reminds me not only of beautiful moments, but also of the God who carried us through them.
Being a single working mom often feels like an impossible balancing act. Being both mom and provider is hard. I’m incredibly grateful to work at my children’s school, but I’m always looking for ways to bridge the gap in our budget. So, when I stumbled upon a photo magnet business, I was intrigued.
For several nights after my kids went to bed, I spent hours researching details on how to start a photo magnet business. My youngest son - a fellow night owl who loves to snuggle until he falls asleep - quickly became invested as he joined in helping me crunch the numbers for start-up costs and dreaming about what this little business could become.
Still, I prayed for confirmation before taking the leap. One busy afternoon, a colleague brought me a thank you gift. It was a digital photo frame. She told me she thought I would enjoy having a new way to display the photos that mean so much to me. I spent the rest of the afternoon in quiet disbelief. By that evening, I found myself in tears. It felt like her words and gift were God’s confirmation to keep going.
So, here we are...
Welcome to Ebenezer Collective. My hope is that every photo magnet we create becomes more than a little decoration on your refrigerator or office cabinet. I hope it becomes a small, tangible reminder of answered prayers, unexpected blessings, and all the ways God has been faithful throughout your story - a modern day stone of remembrance…an Ebenezer.
Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” 1 Samuel 7:12
Thank you for staying to read about me and the heart behind Ebenezer Collective. If you’d like for me to turn some of your cherished memories into your own modern day stones of remembrance, it would truly be an honor.
With love and gratitude,
Shannon
